ABOUT BANGALORE CHAPTER
The Bangalore Chapter was formed in the year 1964 under the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, by a group of dedicated members.
The Bangalore Chapter is one of the premier Chapters in the country. It has many "Firsts" to its credit:-
- First Chapter to be formed in entire India.
- First Chapter to own a building.
- First Chapter authorised to conduct oral coaching classes in India
- First Chapter to conduct National Cost Convention in a place other than the Head Quarters of the Regional councils.
- First Chapter to conduct Centenary (100 th ) batch of Oral Coaching Classes in August 2016.
Bangalore Chapter has been providing service to more than 1800 members and more than 10000 continuing students who are pursuing CMA Course. It is our privilege that many CMAs are occupying top positions in Private/Public Sector, Corporate of repute and in Government were once the students of BCCA. It is heartening to report that a few CMAs who were student of BCCA, are also serving the country in All India Service cadre like IAS, ICAS, IRAS etc..
Bangalore Chapter has conducted National and Regional Cost Convention and also regularly conducts Management Development Programmes for executives of State/Central PSUs, Professional Development activities. BCCA is also a member of Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FKCCI).
Bangalore Chapter is also associated with institutions by way of Knowledge Partners and conducts Joint programs on various topics. In order to strengthen the Industrial interface, Bangalore Chapter is always in touch with industries and conducts various programs and seminars at their venues on relevant topics.
