Chairman Message

Dear Members and Students

I am deeply honoured to assume the responsibility as Chairman of the Bengaluru Chapter of ICMAI for the year 2025–26.

Bengaluru is not only a leading centre for technology and innovation, but also a major hub for manufacturing, services, start-ups, Global Capability Centres, public sector enterprises and emerging businesses. In such an environment, the role of Cost and Management Accountants is becoming more important than ever.

Today, organisations need professionals who can go beyond accounting and contribute to cost leadership, business strategy, governance, analytics, sustainability, taxation, internal controls and performance improvement.

During this term, my focus will be on meaningful programmes, practical knowledge sessions, placement support, student mentoring and better engagement with members and industry. I would also like to make the Chapter more participative, where every member and student feels welcome and involved.

For members, the Chapter will work towards creating more opportunities for knowledge sharing, networking, leadership participation and professional brand building. For students, our focus will be on guidance, discipline, confidence building, examination support, communication skills, interview preparation and Placements support.

I sincerely seek the blessings, guidance and cooperation of all past Chairmen, senior members, fellow professionals, faculty members, students, staff and well-wishers. Let us work together to make this year purposeful, inclusive and impactful for the Bengaluru Chapter and for the profession at large.
